Syntronix was formed in 2006 in Swindon to perform the music that was around in the 1980's but in particular the synthesizer music that became the sound that defined the early 80's. Who can forget Rio by Duran Duran and Gold by Spandau Ballet. Depeche Mode, OMD, Ultravox, Gary Numan, Visage, Human League, Kraftwerk..... the list goes on. The greatest synth based bands of the 80's faithfully reproduced by top musicians and programmers, then delivered with top vocals. Using some of the best synthesizers available (Kurzweil K Series, Roland JV / XV, Akai Z Series) and programming that's so good, you'll struggle to tell the difference between Syntronix and the real thing (check out the live demo of Vienna).
The whole show is supported by a fully synchronised LED DMX light show that puts many static rigs to shame. Every song has it's own pre-programmed light show - check out our video section.
(WARNING Live shows contain Strobe Lighting)
Although they've only been playing for a year or so, they are already generating quite a following. It's time to dig out those double-breasted shirts and pleated trousers and enjoy an evening listening to the songs you went to school with. If you have an event coming up and you want the Premier 80's Tribute band, then don't hesitate to contact them as they only plan on doing around 30 gigs in 2010.
