Nowadays I make music on my own or with some friends of me. It's a mixture of different kinds of music, like electro/techno, drum & bass, triphop, bossa mofa.... .. .. I also play drums in the band "The Schneider". Someone called it country-folk-disco-roll style. I don't know! Call it what you want! .. actual album: "schneider" .. .. "Salamandroids" is another band I'm a part of. The "droidz of doom" are Bock Andrews, Sam Kietz & Me (Scan Affleck). Their style could be descriped as a mix of german hörspiel, music for comics and snippets from movies, mixed up with different electronic music. Furthermore they bought a lot of Techno, Breakbeat and Drum&Bass records. The next step for another performance was born: The Salamandroids-Soundsystem, bringing straight sounds to the dancefloor. .. actual album: "der frosch mit der schildkrötenmaske" ...... .. .. Two turntables, a sampler, kaoss pad and a loopstation---- a new project called "j.d.hello & kurt chemnitz" was born. With dj today we put different kinds of songparts from up to 5 lp's into one song. It's very dark and emotional. Strange pics and visuals are supporting the live performance. ..We don't use computers, everything is handmade. .. See what you hear!! .. ......
