Save Your Soul Records was founded by Doug Simmers with the sole intent to help other artists not get ripped off from the music industry. We offer sound advice to struggling artists. We offer a digital recording studio with industry savvy engineers. We offer radio servicing that allows you not to sell your house and all your belongings to get started in the industry.
Doug Simmers( formally from Daybreak) founded SYS records after being taken by so called "christian brothers" in the christian music scene. After that Doug made a promise to the Lord if i can do anything to help someone i will so they won't get taken like he did. Doug felt he heard the Lord say change the industry. Make it for me instead of for them. Exalt me and I will lift you up. When Doug heard this he knew it was time to bring about a change. Now don't think I'm, crazy it...wasn't like a voice from heaven.... it was a deep deep inner calling and a voice inside his head. Luckily the other voices in my head were silent when this voice spoke. That last line is meant to be a joke for you really religious people.
Save Your Soul Records offers a full line of different radio servicing that is very affordable and can get your music heard by the radio stations and played on the air.
SYS will work with you to get your songs copyrighted, hook you up with either BMI or ASCAP to track your music, help you put together a portfolio with your band and pictures, help you produce your CD that is at an industry standard ( lets face it folks ... there is a standard most of the time its higher than everyone thinks) We will work with the writers to develop their songs and wash your car twice a week. LOLOL just kidding on the last line.
This is all for His glory and will be done as the Lord leads. We will even invest if we think its a great opportunity. We are unable to help the masses however if we choose to help you we have many options to choose. Basically how high you reach is up to you!
Partners Bill and Holly Simmers with Rebourne Entertainment, and our staff
