About me:
There's a lot of buffonery going on in this world. Some of this ignorance can be animated, some is less of a laughing matter. But no one wants to hear that righteous shit because the people that preach justice often lets us down. So we quietly support morality where we see fit and try our best to inspire. Being that hip hop came from the voices of the poor and neglected, it is only appropriate that we put the spotlight on those that face the same struggles we do.
But what is a System Rebel? The “system” can be looked at as the conventional and expected path. Take for example the average child born to a working class family. He grows up with dreams and aspirations but due to his environment, he ends up finishing high school and begins working to support himself and his family. For the next 50 years, he works 9 to 5 in order to put food on the table. He becomes a microscopic block of the US economy, one in millions of servants that help propel their nation. If he is lucky, he will be able to watch his children or grandchildren do the same. In this system, the government has no plan for people like us. It is up to the individual to rebel from the system and find a way out.
We hope to inspire others, whether through music, words or images, just like others inspire us everyday by overcoming adversity and battling the odds. America is a country fueled by self-interest which happens to beneficial to the country's growth (Capitalism). As long as you are contributing more to society (Economically) than hurting it, there is a place for you in this land of opportunities. So there is hope, for all of us.
Oh yea, and one more thing.
Pure hip hop. Not hip pop, pop rap, snap rap, snack crackle and pop drop and lock this is why Im hot rap.
