System Sucker (S.S.) started in 1999 A.D.
In the very beginning Ti and J studied together
at same university and in the same class, they
had the idea to form a band in the same style.
In the past they both had previous experience
from different bands. Ti was a drummer and J
played guitar. They invited a senior friend
in the university come to play bass and a friend
in a different faculty to come play guitar. Since
J played guitar he became the singer and that
is the way System Sucker band played for the first time.
S.S. played music for enjoyment and cover
songs mainly. After that S.S. got to know
their first hard core band from Thailand
License to Kill. S.S. got the opportunity
to play as the opening band at Immortal Bar
in the Songkran Festival day concert No. 1.
At that time S.S?s name went by the name
of Gonorrhea, they stayed and watched many
Big Metal bands in Thailand after they played
such as Ebola, Plahn, Deathguy, Heretic Angel.
This inspired them to write their first song ?Bitch?,
they took lyrics from a song which Ti had wrote
with his old band and choose to play music
in the hard core punk style. This was their
first song they compose which performed
in front of a crowd.
During the day of celebration at the new Immortal Bar
the guitarist withdrew from the band but the other
members did not give up. They still managed to
compose a song and in a short time they got a
new guitarist, his name was Ae. After that they
went to perform at Sophomore Ground Concert
at Chonburi. The front man from License to Kill,
Golf, asked them to if they wanted to change
the band name. And he presented them with
SystemSucker. They agreed to use that name
?System Sucker ?. Shortly after the Bass withdrew
from the band, but in a short time they got a
new bass that Ae persuaded to join, his name
was Pee. Since then many new songs were
written and they played to many concert.
They changed the old style from hard core
Punk to Extreme Metal. Although they still
have some punk songs.
They kept playing many concerts and
people started to noticed them.
In 2003 A.D. they made an EP. Fuck the system.
This was the first album for the band.
The reason they had to make it was so they
would be able to play in rock festival No. 2.
at chiang mai Only 50 albums were produced
and 30 were sold. After that they started to
sell them at all their concerts. People were
interested in it. So they made more from
20 and then 500 and sold them all.
That is why right now you can?t find it.
The bands favorite songs on the ep are
911 and Fuck the System
In 2004 A.D. the band had a conflict with
the guitarist and things started going
down hill. The guitarist from Plahn
helped out by filling in. But his style
was different since he played Death
Metal which made System Sucker
really suck. One day J exgirlfriend
Dad went to the emergency room,
while J was waiting, someone approached
and tapped his shoulder. When he
turned around it was the guitarist from
Zealot, Toon, a band which J admired.
They had a conversation and told that
he left Zealot and was thinking about
joining a new band. So J told him about
the problem with System Sucker and
that he needed someone new. They
found the solution there in that room
at that time........................................
