Everyone knows that time travel was actually properly conceived in its working form on August 12th, 1985, when Professor Max Kettle saw "Back to the Future"... but we don't want to split hairs. It's a nice holiday. It's especially nice to have a little break now that Halloween was done away with in the year 2311 for being "too sleazy."
Everyone usually dresses up as some "BTTF" character. This year I went as Pre-Change Dave McFly, Marty's older brother. It's not a bad costume. I wanted to go as "Imprisoned Uncle Joey," but I didn't have time to get it together. Plus we're not allowed to bring knives to work, and if I can't do the costume with a shiv, then I'm not doing it.
