Well hello there .... my name is actually Ioanna but most people know me by Joanna or Joanna Syze or Dj Syze. I'm Bulgarian but moved to the other side of the world Toronto then Seattle at the age of 9. So fuck knows what or who I am these days, if you know please fill me in hahaha.
As Dj Syze I've DnB Dj'ed for 10 years, vocalist with various artists and Defcom Records, promoter, Bassline booking agency owner...as the list goes on I've probably done it, maybe why I've lost my mind so much.
These days much of the music madness seems to be on slowed down mode. Been going back to school, a never ending process that will drag on for years.. in the area of Science and Natural Medicine. When I'm not acting mental, I spend a great deal of time learning Esoteric's in all forms and wasting hours online chatting to friends hahaha. I enjoy the bland daily rituals of going to bed at a normal time (which i don't do ), eating organic, taking weekend trips to the local nature spots in our state and so on. Aside from the many fun things I've gotten into, I still absolutely love to travel and do as much of it as possible, my hunger and need to see the world is something I will never let escape me. Within travel we learn more about ourselves, and through the voices of other cultures we find our own experiences. .
