About me:

There isn't really much to tell. I'm just a normal guy who works and eats and sleeps like any other jackoff. So I guess I'll go down the list and elaborate on my interests...

One thing I like to do is watch hockey. I have the NHL Center Ice thing on my DirecTV so I watch games just about every night that I'm off. My home team is Atlanta, but I like Washington and Minnesota too.

I really enjoy fishing for trout, bass, and panfish. I fish mainly with either a fly rod or an ultralight spinning outfit. I fish primarily in Virginia and West Virginia.

Right now I'm riding an old Honda 500. I'd really like to either buy a new Harley or get an early-1990's Sportster and chop it out. I haven't figured out which will happen first. But once I get my car paid off I'll have a better idea.

I enjoy keeping a vegetable and herb garden, since I'm a cheap-ass bastard and it saves a lot of money. It's also nice to grow your own stuff and not slam pack it full of chemicals and artificial crap. Not to mention that fresh herbs are great for cooking and making tea and other dumb stuff.

Speaking of cooking, I like to make a lot of international foods like you'd eat in Europe or wherever. Not just like lasagna and crap, but also veal, lamb, duck, and other things that people in America usually aren't really into.

I love going out hunting, because I like sitting around doing nothing and I like the woods. Usually I go deer hunting with family, but I also go squirrel and bear hunting occasionally.

I'm not really a gun freak, but I do have multiple rifles and handguns because you never know when some jackass is gonna bust your door down and start acting funny.

I like listening to a lot of music. Mainly I listen to what most people would call 'metal' but I also like some other crap and some classical composers, too.

I've made some win and beer by myself here at the house, and it's all turned out alright so far. Usually I end up giving a lot away as presents since I'm a cheap-ass, so let me know if you want some for X-mas or whatever.

I especially like doing things that stimulate my mind but don't exhaust me physically. I really enjoy being outside and learning about science and stuff. I'm into geology and the ideas about how the land is shaped by the forces of nature. The Shenandoah Valley is a great place to see a lot of different geological processes at work. I'm also big into weather and the science of how it works. I like watching clouds and observing how patterns in the weather work over periods of time. I'm a volunteer weather spotter, so I have an excuse to drive around looking at clouds and crap when I should be at home washing my dirty undies.

Really, I just like learning about crap and having fun. That's what it's all about.
