In general, there isn't anything I don't enjoy doing or wouldn't mind trying. I'll try anything once. Well, mostly anything, that is. I still want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane before I die. I love to read, reading is probably one of my most favorite things to do. I also love to write, debate, quilt and take long road trips. Road trips are fantastic, and there's nothing better than stopping to play in the snow or to see the world's largest frying pan.
There are way too many artists to list, I enjoy a wide variety of music, in fact I'd be willing to bet that I like all kinds of music. Even country, yes, I admit it, I even like some country music. Just some. Don't get carried away there, turbo.
Movies
I love mostly all movies, from classics like "Love in the Afternoon" to 80s classics like "Pretty in Pink" (I love Duckie!) to tear-jerking-tissue-grabbing movies like "P.S. I Love You" to "Death Proof."
However, so far, my die hard favorite is still...
Television
Most Evil, Intervention, Snapped, Bones, Lie To Me, Heroes, Nip/Tuck, Grey's Anatomy, Charmed and CNN. If one of my shows isn't on television, I'm watching CNN.
Books
If it's a book, I want to read it.
Heroes
Military personnel and their families. Soldiers are not the only ones that make the sacrifice, their families do as well. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
We never know what we are truly capable of doing until we are pushed beyond what we know to be familiar or comfortable, and it is in those moments that we know our own inner strengths. Deanna, you are one of the strongest women I have ever known, and are forever in my heart and prayers.

About me: One of my favorite quotes:
"Every decision you make - every decision - is not a decision about what to do. It's a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do."
~Neale Donald Walsch~
Life's kind of funny in that it never quite seems to be what you had originally thought, and things don't go quite the way you want. But in the end, they always seem to work themselves out.
I'm a single mother of two amazing boys who continue to grow right before my eyes. Time seems to blur after having children, one moment they're small infants cradled in your arms, the next, they're full functioning mini-people. I fear that if I blink, they will be tax paying adults! I'm getting in as many snuggles and smoochies as possible, because soon...and very soon...they will be too cool to hang with mom.
I enjoy life and all of its quirks, I try very hard to remain positive in the most negative of situations, so much so that's a curse as well as a blessing. I just finished school and am now facing an unwelcoming economy, so it looks like it's back to school. Again.
I've realized in the last few years that friends, true friends, are extremely hard to come by, and much like the quote goes, "Friendship is always a sweet responsibility, never an opportunity." (Kahlil Gibran) I am truly blessed with wonderful friends, and I'm extremely thankful to have them in my life. When life throws piles of hot shit at you, the friends standing with you afterwards are the ones you should put in your will.
The older I get, the less patience I have with bullshit, drama and shitbags. I have enough on my own plate that I don't need any unnecessary drama, life is short, we should appreciate each day as the gift it is, and show the people we love just how much we love them.
