Over the course of recording our first album, Offering, we have had the opportunity to work with some of our really good friends and some great musicians. We wish to acknowledge them here.

MEMBERS

AKILESH is a performing South Indian percussionist, focusing on the Mridangam and Ghatam. He is currently learning at SIFAS under Guru T R Sundaresan. Akilesh provides South Indian Percussion and Polyrhythm to TaalMenz

KARTHIGESH is a self-taught guitarist, who continues to improve with the guidance of senior musicians. Karthik plays the Guitar and also provides Vocals for TaalMenz.

NARESH is a versatile keyboardist who is comfortable both with Western and Indian music. Naresh plays the Keyboard and provides Vocals for TaalMenz

PRABHU is self-taught in various Indian percussion instruments such as the Naal, Dholak and Tabla. Prabhu has been learning further different styles of percussion more recently, taking up the Cajon and Djembe for TaalMenz.

SATHIS first picked up the Tabla at TFA Singapore, under the guidance of guru Kedhar Karat, playing the Tabla, Pakhawaj, Dholak and Duff. Sathis provides North Indian Percussion for TaalMenz.

SURESH is proficient on the Piano and the Harmonium to an intermediate level. He is also learning Indian Pop music and Latin percussion, specifically the Conga. Suresh plays Keyboards and Conga for TaalMenz

VIGNESH Vignesh is a Carnatic Vocalist, having been trained for over 14 years,currently under guidance from Guru Smt Mangalam Shankar, a Carnatic guru at SIFAS. Vignesh provides Vocals for TaalMenz
