About me:
I am a FULL TIME stay at home mommy, AND photographer. This is not always easy to maintain, but I love doing it! For this reason, I do appreciate your patience and understanding when it comes to: length of time in getting your photos back, returning phonecalls, and scheduling in advance.
Before inquiring, PLEASE understand that I am NOT a high volume, low price chain store studio. If you are looking for walmart quality and prices, I am not the photographer for you. I am an independant photographer, which means you will never be rushed, cramped in a small space with 10 other crying children waiting in line for their appointments. Sessions are extremely relaxed and flexible. If your baby is fussy, you may take a break to feed him, change him, or just cuddle him a bit, in order to ensure beautiful and timeless images of your child, while showing their TRUE personality.
The type of photography I do is labeled fine art. What does this mean? It means I take care with each session to make it unique. I use photo editing software to enhance my images to what my "vision" perceives. It's kind of like a digital darkroom, but instead of processing film, I process my images digitally. Walmart, sears, etc. are simply places that will take your picture and send it strait to print. Each of my images are enhanced for quality and artistic nature. This is why your sessions will take about one-two weeks to be completely finished, and sometimes a little longer during my busy months. (Be sure to read my blog on here titled "walmart vs. me".)
I do offer specials that are reduced from my normal prices, especially during holidays. I usually post here and on my blog when I run these specials. If you want to know when the next one will be, just send me an email or call.
