[Table Twelve is an actual table for two located in the middle of New York City at the Bryant Park Café - both Tom and Melissa have had the distinct pleasure of waiting tables there. Recently, Melissa has officially retired from her long and illustrious career as a waitress . . . but you never know . . . next week she could be back waiting tables graciously serving you a beer and a perfunctory smile. ]

Influences
antony & the johnsons, dresden dolls, jason webley, feist, rasputina, ella fitzgerald & louis armstrong, cold war kids, guns n' roses, belle & sebastian, the gay blades, cat stevens, nick drake, jeff buckley, yeah yeah yeahs . . .
It all began when a cocktail waitress and a bar back realized they had more in common than just drinking. Melissa Moshé & Tom Mandulak met as co-workers in 2002 at a bar in the East Village of New York City. Tom had just started playing cello and Melissa had casually written a couple of songs - so it seemed completely reasonable that they start a band. They named it Table Twelve to pay homage to their "careers" in the service industry. They performed all over the city - including the "summer subway tour" which was Melissa's brilliant idea to perform at various subway stops throughout downtown manhattan - admission was the cost of a metrocard ride. After many years of playing together, performing, laughing and fighting like an old married couple Melissa & Tom were forced to separate due to geographical differences - Tom still resides in New York City and in late September 2005 Melissa returned home to Los Angeles.
Melissa is very happy to announce that her first full-length album created with producer Marika Tjelios (major credit - melissa ferrick) is FINALLY done!! The debut album titled "small world for left hands" is currently available on itunes, cdbaby.com, rhapsody.com and emusic.com. enjoy!
Dear Melissa, it would be fantastic to play a gig with you some time. I hope it will happen in the not so very far away future!! I have never travelled to the States yet but I have some friends there, and some great artists I know live in LA or nearby (like Lucia Iman in my Top Friends). I will definitely visit when I have a chance. If one could drive there, I would have visited already!
We will definitely have to keep in touch about it. Best wishes and vibes all the way from sunny Finland!
Dear Melissa, thank you so much for adding me as a friend!! I always like to listen to all the people who add me because if I just accept without listening, I might not find them later. I don't have time to listen every day so that's why it took me a few days to accept your request and visit you here. And... I am so happy I have this "rule" of checking everything out. Because I would have hated to miss your music. I have only just started listening, and I am just listening to the second song, but, wow... Really great songs and sound. You reminded me a little of Cowboy Junkies, and a bit of Aimee Mann. I love them both.
I can hardly believe that you're unsigned. In my Top Friends, you will see TalentCast. Please add them if you haven't yet, and maybe you'd like to become a member and upload some tracks for airplay? More people would hear you. I hope you'll think about it. You can hear the latest programme here.
Thank you for inviting me. Of course, any time you feel like it when your head is not already full of music, welcome to my songs too!
Hi Melissa, lovely songs and nice performance, it was fun to be on your page. Thanks for the invitation, wish you good luck and inspiration. Kind regards, Ruud.
