I like to know a little about everything as much as possible (I am well rounded).
Aristotle discussed how it is better to know a fair amount about everything than to know everything about only one thing.
I feel my 100% Austrian grandmother on my mother's side sparked my interest in music, cooking, and gardens. My grandmother on my father's side also gave me love for cooking and gardens. I feel my Yugoslavian grandfather on my mother's side sparked my interest knowledge, soccer, and he was a tailor. And I think somehow he imparted a caring for the world and knowledge that everyone is worth something & life is short. If food preferences are inherited, then he gave me my love of hot and spicy food and 3 spoons of sugar in my coffee.
He also taught me how to sew (I can't physically anymore).
My Scottish / Irish grandfather on my father's side was also a wonderful guy; my up-er side (meaning someone from the upper peninsula of Michigan). My father gave me my work hard attitude. He also got me interested in science fiction and Star Trek, which sparked interest in many more things. Like Space, space physics, electronics, and computers. My mother gave me a never give up attitude and always do your best. My family above are all great.
My favorite animals are Elephants and Giraffe.
Looking at the stars and the vast emptiness of the cosmos at night and astronomy.
I know about building, home improvement.
I went into Computers for college instead of electronics or cooking because of my physically barriers.
I seem to naturally know about children and always get along with them.
I really enjoy helping people.

Movies
Television
I love TV & movies, but I can record any show and do something in the real world instead. Favorite television series' are Star Trek, Stargate, and Earth Final Conflict. I like SCI-Fi because of Utopia with people solving things and helping people with their mind and tech.
I like the show Smallville.
I like Charmed, but I don't believe in the magic to a point, but when watching I become immersed in the fantasy and it is real for a time.

I feel Superman and I are kindred spirits(NOT THE POWERS), ASK ME ABOUT IT .
But I would say my inspiration is Stephen Hawking. He is a famous physicist and professor and has severe ALS and a quadriplegic (he cannot speak on his own). He is called the father of STRING THEORY. Amazingly he is still here after decades, usually it's only like months after ALS diagnosis.
My ultimate hero is Jesus.
I respect religious choice and won't push my ideas on others, but I expect everyone to respect my beliefs.
At the same time Respect does not mean keeping it to myself.

About me: I run a website advocating and educating for people with disabilities called DisabilityVoiceSpace (DisabilityVoice). I am 37 years old. I have the genetic disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy(My muscles get weaker and I am like a quadriplegic now) and I am on respiratory life support 24/7.
As with any person with a disability, I have dreams, aspirations, and a hope for love. One important thing about me is I like helping people and I always forgive those who wrong me.
I have 2 degrees in computer related fields.
I respect everyone's opinion and I acknowledge I don't know everything, but I have strong opinions in almost everything. My opinions have changed by learning from actually listening to the opinion of others. So I feel people should discuss differing opinions. I don't take things personal unless someone acts like I cannot express my own opinion.
My Father and Stepmother adopted two children. They are my brother and sister(both 15) and I deeply care about them and would do anything for them. I currently live mostly with my Mother and Stepfather.
