Femmixx.com, The Home of Female Music Producers, DJ’s & Emcees and co–producer of She’s My DJ Battle has done it again. Femmixx.com has produced a documentary dedicated solely to female music producers. Here is their story – the struggles, the journey, the fight to be seen and heard as music producers. Lady Beatmakers: Vol.1 the highly anticipated documentary produced and directed by Tachelle “Shamash” Wilkes and co –directed by Tony Forbes is putting female music producers on the map where they belong.
Five female producers share their stories - Josie Carr who has produced and engineered for Mary J. Blige and Mobb Deep, Latacia “T.C.” Lewis, a violinist who plays while making beats, Shakti, known as “The Indian Hip Hop Diva” who has international notoriety and has worked with the likes of Russell Simmons, Jewel Brown who started out as a DJ and transitioned into music production and Stephanie “Diverse” Whittaker, who has two beat battle championships under belt just goes to show that female producers are alive and well.

God’s
presence is ever beside you, as near as the reach of your hand. You have but to
tell Him your troubles--- there is nothing He won’t understand. And knowing God’s
love is unfailing, and His mercy unending and great, You have but to trust in
His promise---“God comes not too soon or too late.” Helen Steiner Rice

Hi, it’s been a long time since I’ve been hanging out on myspace. I’ve turned into some sord of hermit. So, in good old fashion sense of spreading love , I’m saying. “What’s up? How ya been? And Here’s a cyber hug. MMMMMMMMMM. I am sending this same message to as many people that I can reach. But I can’t reach everyone. So spread some love yourself……So peace, light, and love to you. Song
