    Tacit Closet is an alternative rock band based in Hong Kong, consists of Jacky (Guitar / Vocal), Vanilla (Bass), and Dave (Drums), formed in 2008. The band is mainly influenced by various alternative rock/punk acts such as suede, The Clash, Mansun, Placebo, Muse, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, etc. Owing to Dave's departure near the end of 2010, plus the happenings of this and that, the band went on... hiatus for more than a year. But in 2012, the drummer is back and the band is back in business again. Before the hiatus, the band had completed 10 songs in total. And more new songs would hopefully be coming throughout the year of 2012. Stay tuned with the band's facebook/myspace pages for gigs update....very soon.

Bio:

Tacit Closet consists of Jacky as vocal + guitar, Vanilla as Bass and Dave on Drums. Tacit Closet was formed in 2007 with Jacky and Vanilla only as an acoustic duo, joining the Soundbase Festival 2007 competition, being eligible to with "Sleep Is The Enemy". A year later, summer of 2008, Dave was asked to join the band to complete the full band lineup. Just one month after the union, the band appeared in its first public performance with "Sleep Is The Enemy" again, transformed into full rock band version. With some months for digging on new stuff, the band appeared again at the late 2008 for the Youth Band Marathorn, with addition of new songs "You Know" and "Out Of Tune". Starting from April 2009, the band returned with more regular performances. "Story Ends Abruptly" and "Stella" added to the set, with the latter one became the live favourite. At June, the confidence of the band was boosted by being eligible to the final of M1 Bar band competition. In late July, the band won the 2nd runner up of "Our Rock Story" competition with "Stella". Tacit Closet is currently working on new songs again. "Future's In Our Head" and "Love Floods" are to be completed. The band is now looking for more performances to test on the new stuff.
