This is a musical collaboration between Michael and Jeanette Tackett. They have an extensive background in music between the two of them. Jeanette was in all-state choir in high school, majored in vocal music in college and sang lead in the rock band, Jazmine. Mike, a member of The Recording Academy and a Grammy Awards voter, grew up behind a microphone and keyboard in his dad's home studio and studied music and recording in college. They sang together in two Christian a cappella groups in Austin, Texas -- one of which (Arise) they're still with today.
Mike and Jeanette worked together in Tennessee with the group Acappella for two years. Jeanette was the group's road manager and a studio vocalist and Mike was their sound man and a studio engineer.
Upon moving back to Texas, they soon became leaders of their church band and started piecing together a home studio of their own. Writing music together for the first time has proved to be a rewarding experience and they hope to continue and create their first full album.
