About me: Tacoma Art Place is a non-profit art center in the heart of Tacoma's revitalized MLK neighborhood (in the old Friday's Cookies facility down from LeLe Restaurant).
Explore your creativity. We provide the studio space, equipment and classes so you can explore your artistic ability. Our mission is to provide access to equipment and training that will allow more people to affordably be creative. We also take special care to serve underserved groups with scholarships.
Currently the program is adopted under the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation (with charitable tax status) as we develop.
Community building makes beautiful art. TAP into your potential!
Who I'd like to meet: People who want to explore their artistic ability. People who believe that community building makes beautiful art. People who love Tacoma. You.
We also need volunteers, art teachers and people with art supplies to donate.

ICON CEPTS
Two Vaults Gallery Wednesday, July 2nd 6 to 8:30 PM
Start your 4th of July party early by joining us for our special summer feature — ICONcepts. Lynn DiNino and Paula from Two Vaults have teamed up to bring you this fun, one of a kind show. 38 (at last count) artists have each created a piece of iconic art — raising local people, things, and events to new heights. See the venerated 100th monkey… pay homage to Barbie, and say a prayer to "Ste. Lynn" herself. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Come toast these "transcended Tacomans" with us at TWO VAULTS Gallery.
