2008 Tacoma Tide Soccer Tickets ON SALE NOW
Season tickets for the 2008 Tacoma Tide soccer season are on sale, including a home match against the USL Champion Seattle Sounders in July. The Tide plays all nine matches at Curtis High School in University Place, Wash.
Fans can “Ride The Tide” by purchasing tickets either through the Tide Ticket Office at 253-564-9329 or online at www.tacomafc.com.
The season ticket advantage includes: an official team scarf, priority to purchase Tide post season tickets & US Open Cup games, complimentary seat cushion/seat backs at the stadium, never a wasted ticket program, and a price discount over individual games.
In the team’s third Premiere Development League season, the Tide finished second in the Northwest Division in 2007 and recently had it’s star midfielder Ciaran O’Brien selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft by the Colorado Rapids.
The Premiere Development League is the top men’s amateur league for elite soccer players under 23. Many of the Tide players are also on collegiate rosters throughout the Puget Sound and retain their eligibility while playing on the team.

Tacoma FC on TV !!!
Comcast and the Tacoma FC have agreed to a second season of Tacoma Tide games on Comcast ON DEMAND. The 2008 season agreement is to broadcast all Tide home games with the option for additional road games. The deal is an excellent opportunity for the Tide and Comcast both. The Tide achieve valuable coverage and stretch to more fans in the community and Comcast recieves an excellent product to feature in their Local Sports section of ON DEMAND programming. The games will be available to anyone with Comcast Cable for TV.
To see the games, go to channel 1, select Get Local, then click Local Sports, and finally Semi-Pro Soccer. If you cant make it to a game, or you just want to see it from a different perspective with professional production quality, watch it on TV! Each game will be available as soon as 24 hours after the game, and because it’s ON DEMAND, you can watch Tacoma FC soccer games whenever you want; as many times as you want. About me: Tacoma F.C. is an American soccer team, founded in 2006. The team is a member of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League(PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and plays in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference against teams from Abbotsford and Vacouver, Canada, as well as teams from Ogden, Provo, Salem, Spokane and Yakima.
We were introduced into the league at very short notice in 2006 when it was announced that the now defunct Spokane Shadow franchise were suspending operations for the season. We recently chose the name Tacoma Tide, but our bright yellow home jerseys have prompted fans to refer to us by that color during our first season.
We play home matches in the stadium at Curtis Senior High School in the city of University Place, Washington, six miles west of downtown Tacoma . The team’s colors are yellow, blue and white.
