DJ/Producer Chase Gomez AKA TactiK/Cut to the Chase/Master Flip, has been recording and producing tracks for over a decade. Once keyboard driven and now sample driven, TactiK spends much time looking for the right sounds/breaks to chop up everyday. Cut to the Chase has always been a fan of hip hop since he could remember some of the first Run DMC & Beastie Boys videos, now looking forward to creating some own videos of his own... TactiK is geared towards an underground sound, but still apreciates some mainstream elements. He has produced a series of albums with multiple MC's including Concept Ill,Reason The Citizen, and Issac The Osiris (as The Abyss Prophets). TactiK is also currently working on many new projects including tracks with Reason the Citizen, Mark My Words, Jay the Fallguy and much more. Since signed to Giant Squid Records in '08, TactiK's collaborations with other artists have greatly increased. MC's Change & Artoo have been a big factor in TactiK's GSR position, recording many tracks over his production and distributing albums such as Giant Squid's From The Depths '08 release. TactiK is selling affordable beats via Soundclick for hungry MC's, TactiK Exclusives are now available! Vinyl plays a big part in sample his production and especially in performance, lap tops & scratch programs do not. All Vinyl DJ sets and cuts are freestyled with a wide selection of underground beats, breaks, and other hip hop classics for that old school feel.
