An experiment of musical free will. Created in the summer of 2006 as a way to combine all the solo music/sound sculpture I was creating for various projects, the band solidified into the moniker it stands for today; an idea to create a unique vision amongst the common sounds we so often hear around us.
Working with fellow collaborator Moyer, Tactile Son strives to be an alternative to the typical. Often recording live in studio or outdoors to capture mood or setting, weaving together sound/noise/nature or baring a stark minimalism to create a sonic tapestry of the world around us, Tactile Son stops to remind us of the small things that we so often take for granted or ignore.
