About me:
"Springsteen Sings America - Long Walk Home to the Land of Hope and Dreams" by Tadd IGARASHI; the preface by John Wesley Harding (aka Wesley Stace).
It is a collection of my writings on Bruce Springsteen from '95 to '08 and includes all linernotes for Japanese issues of his albums, concert reviews essays and interviews with Springsteen, Clarence Clemons, Nils Lofgren and Jon Landau.
My good friend John Wesley Harding is kind enough to specially write the preface. You can read the English text of his contribution on Wes' myspace blog.

I am a music jounalist based in Tokyo, Japan. Like to extend my network in the music scene worldwide.
I speak quite fluent English. Often go abroad to attend and cover music festivals, see shows or interview artists. Among the festivals I've been to last few years, I covered SXSW, WOMEX, Austin City Limits Music Fest, Celtic Connections, Vancouver Folk Music Fest and others.
Before I started working as a journalist, I had worked at imported record shops for 5, 6 yrs. Yeah, I was just like the "High Fidelity" guy then. So I also know some about retailing. And I sometimes work for radio programs at FM stations in Tokyo area.
I am a translator too. I have translated these books into Japanese and pubished in the past. Robert Palmer "Deep Blues," Dave Marsh "Elvis," Paul Williams "How Deep Ocean is: Brian Wilson and Beach Boys," Charles R. Cross (ed) "Backstreets - Bruce Springsteen," Andy Gill "My Back Pages: Bob Dylan in the 60s" and more.
My main blog is called, "Tadd"pole Galaxy (http://tadd.txt-nifty.com/blog/).
Sorry, but it is in Japanese. I believe you can enjoy some photos, though.
As you can tell from my blog, what I do mainly is introducing foreign music (you guys' music!) to Japanese music lovers. Still I can give you informations about Japanese music scene and some advices concerning music business in Japan.
Now I also work as a superviser/creative consultant for Oak Tree records, a Music Plant label (http://www.mplant.com/oaktree.html).
Our roster at this moment includes Robyn Hitchcock, Glenn Tilbrook (ex-Squeeze), Boo Hewerdine, The Minus 5 (feat.Scott McCaughey & Peter Buck of REM) and Paul Brady.
We are a small label, but have a national distribution just like major labels in Japan.
So if you're interested in releasing your album in Japan, please contact me. Being a small label, we don't have a big room for many artists. Still we can talk. And your music might floor us!
Who I'd like to meet: musicians, music business people, music fans ... and, of course, attractive ladies!!
This month we mostly have Catie Curtis (with a Richard Thompson cover), Lindsay Fuller and The Cheap Dates (and who amongst us isn't?), Josh Fix with a track from the well-titled album This Town Is Starting To Make Me Angry and the rather lovely Red Rooster.
Four more little sonic gems for your August pleasure are now available on the site. Blitzen Trapper, Boulder Acoustic Society, Jay Brannan and The Wiyos. Yet another fine quartet even though we say so ourselves as picked them out.
"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders) "The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ TerryZwigoff
Hello, after an unfortunate hiatus, the reasons for which are probably best not gone into here, we finally have some new music on the AUK MySpace site. For your listening pleasure this month we offer Nathan Oliver, Conrad Ford, the irrepressible Todd Snider and the delightful Beccy Owen. Don't forget too, for those of you within striking distance of Leicester, Electric Dustbowl 2 on 19 September.
Thanks for being our friend - check out the new updates on our website - www.latinplayboys.org. We've added a new video blog and we are featuring some really cool art in the coffee table book. Take a look when you get a chance! And spread the word about site - we'll be showcasing some fantastic visual artists.
Hi Amigo, thank you for the article, would love to have a translation and name of the publication. it was wonderful to meet you again in Japan in April 2009. love and peace, Rattlesnake

Hello, it's that time of the month again when we add more lovely music to our site. This month's happy foursome are The Barker Band in wistful mode, the summer of love-ish Old Californio, the anything but summer love-ish Christopher Rees and, wait for it..."Travelling Salesman's Young Wife Home Alone On Christmas In Montpelier, VT" from Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, which evenr if it was rubbish (and it's not) just had to be included for the names alone.
Itâs that time of the month and our site has four new tracks up for your listening enjoyment.
This monthâs box of delights include the swaggering groove of Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, the insanely catchy folk-pop of Antje Duvekot, the languid Great Lake Swimmers and, a little belatedly but better late than never, The Young Republic.
A particularly strong month, even if we do say so ourselves. Check them out, you won't regret it.
Come join us in our Cause! Please help us spread the word by recruiting friends and adding an Eternal Circle badge to your profile to show your support!
Hello and a Happy New Year to you. An eclectic bunch of songs new to the site this month. The frankly uncategorisable Icelandic band Storsveut Nix Noltes, the sardonic lyics (plus ukelele) of Dent May. some dark folk from The Deep Dark Woods and emerging US singer-songrwiter Israel Nash. Hope you like them all.
Hello. For our final update of 2008 we have a track from the wonderful Todd Snider, classic sounds from The Snakes, the spellbinding voice of Kate Campbell, the atmospheric Iguanas and some leftfield rock'n'roll from Slithering Beast. Merry Christmas/Solstice/whatever and a Happy New Year!
Yes, it's that time of the month again when your listening pleasure can be enhanced by heading off to the AUK Myspace site where you will find folk whimsy from The Travelling Band, poignant thoughfulness from Waylon Jennings, The Butless Chaps (don't you just want to know what they sound like?) and the sweetly swinging (and singing) Tish Hinojosa.
