Tadhg Cooke’s solo debut crisscrosses so many terrains that your musical compass may quiver with the sheer magnetic challenge of Wax & Seal...
Eminently likeable, utterly enviable. **** The Irish Times
Charting a course between noir-ish torch songs and heart-on-sleeve folk-pop... An anomaly : an Irish singer who looks and sounds like nobody but himself. Metro
His highly assured debut album "Wax & Seal" sounds as far removed from the beardy brigade of po-faced strummers as Pablo Aimar’s deft touches are from the journeymen footballers of, say, West Brom...
"Wax & Seal" is a confident, impressive debut HotPress
FAQ : How is Tadhg pronounced? Answer : It's pronounced like "tiger" without the "er" sound".....

The Irish Times said, "Tadhg Cooke's solo debut crisscrosses so many terrains that your musical compass may quiver with the sheer magnetic challenge of Wax & Seal" and, giving it 4 stars, described the record as "eminently likeable, utterly enviable".
HotPress said "Success and acclaim is very much his for the taking", and called it "a confident impressive debut".
Pretended this was the plan all along. Grinned knowingly.

Good morning! It's 10:30am here in Michigan and I'll be on my way to Dublin in about 6.5 hours. Hope to maybe say HI while I'm there, and I hope you've recovered from your jetlag. Lol.
Tadhg, we're definitely hoping to maybe look you up in Dublin. We are staying in Dun Laoghaire for 14 days. We know a few things we want to do for sure, but mostly we're just planning as we go...whatever we feel like at the moment. Any ideas are welcome, or maybe we could meet up with you somewhere and say hi.
