The group, comprised of Nana Cissokho (kora), Marc Liebeskind (guitar/sit-guitar) and Christophe Erard (double bass) whose talents compliment each other perfectly, have created a distinct sound that is deceptively placid with Liebeskind’s acoustic guitar and Erards’s bass ebbing around the sweet melodies of Cissokho's kora; yet, there are surprising depths here with echoes of the varied musical cultures that the trio has absorbed throughout their global travels which bubble to the surface unexpectedly.
