...I love all the music, from classical to metal!... I really listen many artists and genres...so now I can say that the more influences in my musical life is coming from great musicains like Alain Caron, Stuart Hamm, Tony Levin, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, John Patitucci and expecially from the Great Jaco Pastorius!
The bands that influence me are very very much! In the progressive area King Crimson, Genesis, Marillion, Peter Gabriel, David Sylvian, Bjork, Jetrho Tull, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, THe Flower Kings, Area, Camel and more...., inthe funk-soul area Earth Wind & Fire, Liquid Soul, Jamiroquai, Sly & Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, James Brown...in the rock area The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, U2, Police, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley, Metallica, Pantera and more....
At last in the Jazz area Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt, Charles Mingus...
HI EVERYBODY! I'm a bass player from Mantova, North Italy.
This is a little short biography...well, I began to study music when I was only 8 years old...I was playing the clarinet since 14 years . In this period I studied very much classical music and just a few of jazz; after this I began to study very well the bass guitar with Mario Marcassa, a great jazz bass player and teacher from Rovigo. I studied with him for 4 years and so I studied rock style, hyper slap and polyphonic tapping with Giorgio "JT" Terenziani for other 3 years.
At last, in the 2005, I began to attend the Modern Music Academy "Lizard" of Fiesole (FI) under the great guide of Roberto Galli...
Now I'm studing advanced slap tecniques and latin jazz style with Roberto Pascucci.
I play, morover, with 3 different groups...
In the 2002 I entered in the prog-rock band MOONGARDEN (www.moongardenweb.com) and in the 2004 I recorded my first album with the band, "ROUND MIDNIGHT". This album in the 2005 was classified "12th World's Best Prog Album" by the Dutch website ProgWereld. In the spring of 2006 we did a promo tour in Italy, Finland, Nederlands and Belgium. Now it's ready our new work, "SONGS FROM THE LIGHTHOUSE" with three new elements, Marco Tafelli (guitars) - Simone Baldini Tosi (vocals) and Maurizio Di Tollo (drums); and last but not the least ;) the great keyboard, chapman stick player Cristiano Roversi. The album is produced by the American label ProgRock Records and distribuited by the major label SPV.
I play also with another group, LIQUID FUNK (www.liquidfunk.it).
It's a funk band with wonderful elements like Alessio Garavello - vocals (Power Quest and Arthemis), Paolo Perazzani - drums (Arthemis), Stefano Perini at the keyboards and Alessandro Mingardo at the guitars! Let's Funk your Soul!!!

teach harmony, electric bass and music modern music history...
