AUDITION NOTICES
Julian Adair's new production company, Ever After Productions, will present a new theatrical ballet, Nutcracker Delights, at BLT in December. Auditions for the roles of young Marie (age 9 and up) and a look-alike grown-up Marie (the Clara of the traditional Nutcracker) will take place Saturday, Aug. 18, 3:30 p.m., at the Camelot Community Center, 9270 Cady Ave. For more information, call 551-4200. The Circle Theatre will hold auditions for Brady Fest 2007 on Tuesday & Wednesday, Aug. 21 & 22, 7 p.m., at Central Presbyterian Church (lower level), 726 S. 55th St. Many roles for young men and women ages 8 to 18 are available, as well as several roles for adult men and women. The one-acts will be performed the last two weeks of October. For more information, contact Doug Marr at 553-4715 or dmarr@cox.net.
The Nebraska Theatre Caravan will hold youth auditions (ages 7-18) for touring productions of A Christmas Carol by appointment only on Saturday, Aug. 25, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Omaha Community Playhouse, 6915 Cass St. There is a height limitation of 5'3". Applicants should bring a resume, recent photograh, a prepared song with sheet music and be ready to read from a script. An accompaniest will be provided. Auditioners should enter the building through the Backstage door.
Rehearsals will start the beginning of November. Tours depart Thanksgiving week and return around Christmas. Youths selected for the tours will miss approximately seven weeks of school. Tutors/chaperones are provided for each tour.

About me:

Did you know there are over 30 LIVE theaters in the City of Omaha? The Theatre Arts Guild of Omaha's mission is to get people to see live community theater and gain awareness of all the different opprotunities to get involved! Many people don't know of all the different theaters around town. TAG wants to change that.
Teenagers are often the ones who are the most left out of all the fun. Many times, teens are unaware of theater opprotunities outside their highschools. The goal of TAG Teen Reps is to get teens involved with community theater as well!

Who I'd like to meet:
There are many opprotunities with TAG to meet other theater enthusiasts! TAG Nights Out are events hosted by various theaters for members of TAG to meet and mingle and see a fantastic show!
