In the spring of 2004, the launch of Quebec-based rock band Tailor Made Fable was undertaken by Rémi Chassé (lead vocal, guitar / keyboard) and Mike Normand (guitar / vocal), Pierre E. Beaudoin (drums / vocal) and Matt Boulanger (bass / vocal). In less than three years, TMF released two EP’s and one LP. Excited crowds have packed venues to see their mind-blowing shows since. In September 2007, TMF won the first prize of ''Envol & Macadam Festival'', wich was held in Quebec City. In august 2008, the band traveled to UK to rock the Mathew Music Street Festival in Liverpool and played at the legendary Cavern Club. Back to Canada, TMF decided to add a new member to the band, the guitarist Louis Fernandez. On November 20th 2008, the digital release of their debut album ''All These Questions'' smashed into the Top 100 sales chart on Puretracks in its first week online in Canada, claiming the #1 slot from the likes of Nickelback and Guns n' Roses. In April of 2009, once again, the guys distinguished themselves when their song A Case of Mistaken Identity was awarded in the Rock category at the prestigious International Songwriting Competition in Nashville. The quality of their craft was recognized by an impressive jury composed of some of the biggest names in the industry and international showbizz such as: Tom Waits, Robert Smith (The Cure), Rob Thomas (MatchBox 20), and Ray Davies (The Kinks) amongst others. In 2009, after touring all year long across Quebec and Canada, Hubert Maheux joined the band in replacement of Fernandez. The arrival of Maheux in the band, kick off a new creative burst for TMF. At the same time the band started looking toward the USA for new opportunities and ended signing a booking deal with the very well-known agency B.L.A. in Nashville. In the spring of 2010, the band's members moved to Music City and toured the States with pit-stops in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Austin, L.A and Milwaukee, where they burned down the house at the Milwaukee Summer Fest in front of 10 000 festival goers. Meanwhile, they started to write and recorded what would become their next album titled ''Emerge And See'' which was released in Canada last November on Disques VivaMusik Records and distributed by DEP/Universal Canada. This new EP contains six new songs including a cover of the mega-success You Got It, originally performed by the legendary Roy Orbison. It was February 2011 that Barbara Orbison (R.I.P.)) invited the boys to participate in the compilation album celebrating the 75th birthday of the rock legend and also gave them the green light to include the song on their new release. The EP was recorded, mixed and produced by Yves Drolet and Hubert Maheux and also mastered by none other than Eddie Schreyer (The Offspring, Lady Gaga, Queen) at Oasis Mastering, in Los Angeles. The band is coming back from L.A. where they played at STAPLES Center for the L.A. Kings Live Music Night, The Hard Rock Café and at the World Famous Whisky A Go-Go. TMF is now back on the road promoting their new album.





Biographie
C’est au printemps 2004 que Mike Normand (guitare / voix) Rémi Chassé (guitare / voix), Matt Boulanger (basse / voix) et P-E Beaudoin (batterie / voix) juxtaposent leur talent musical et forment Tailor Made Fable. Décembre 2004, Tailor Made Fable sort de l’ombre et lance son tout premier E.P. (autoproduit). En peu de temps, la formation attire l’attention des médias et du public.

C’est au mois d’avril 2006 que le second opus (If we didn’t set the dream high enough…) de la formation voit le jour. Dès l’été 2006, les concerts s’enchaînent à un rythme effréné. À l’automne 2006, le quatuor travaille à l’élaboration de quatre nouvelles pièces avec le musicien, compositeur et réalisateur Oliver Haze. Se joint ensuite au projet Stef Rancourt musicien-arrangeur d’exception et collaborateur de la première heure ainsi que John Webster, ingénieur de son réputé, de Vancouver.

Janvier 2007, quatre nouvelles pièces voient le jour. Tailor Made Fable a trouvé sa signature. Un rock aux accents pop et aux mélodies incendiaires! Automne 2007, le groupe conclut une entente avec Les Disques VivaMusik et entre en studio en janvier 2008 pour débuter l’enregistrement de ce nouvel opus.

En août de la même année, le quatuor s’envole pour l’Angleterre et se produit au Mathew Music Festival. Lors de ce périple, TMF devient également le premier groupe québécois à se produire au légendaire Cavern Club de Liverpool. L’année 2008 se termine en beauté avec la sortie digitale au Canada de « All These Questions ». Réalisé par Oliver Haze avec la complicité de Stef Rancourt (Pascale Picard), mixé à Vancouver par John Webster (Aerosmith, The Cult, Jonas) et masterisé à Los Angeles par nul autre qu’Eddy Schreyer (The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, Queen), l'album se retrouve dans les bacs des disquaires en avril 2009 au Canada et est distribué par DEP / Universal Music Canada. Le premier single A Case Of Mistaken Identity fait une entrée fracassante en décrochant la première position sur PureTracks pendant deux semaines consécutives devant Nickelback et Guns’N Roses.

La même pièce se distingue à nouveau en raflant la deuxième position dans la catégorie rock lors de la prestigieuse International Songwriting Competition qui se déroulait à Nashville, toujours en avril 2009. Grâce à ce prix, Tailor Made Fable attire l’attention de l’industrie musicale américaine et est invité, à l’automne 2009, à se produire lors du Next Big Nashville. Résultats : Des négociations pour la sortie de l‘album aux États-Unis et une première tournée américaine en 2010. Présentement, TMF continue de promouvoir son album au Canada et débute l’écriture de nouveau matériel pour son prochain album. Attention succès devant!
