I'm looking to collaborate with a few Players of Various instruments. Horns/Woodwinds(Sax,Flute,Clarinet/Bass Clarinet,Oboe,Bassoon,ETC>) Strings(Violin,Viola, Cello, Sitar,ETC>) Keys/Synth., P.Bass/Upright, Drummer/Percussionist, DJ/Poet.
I'm a instrumentalist, Guitarist,Percussionist,Creator of Sound Prayers of Musical Instruments.
I would like to conceive a project from amongst the Psychedelic, Acoustical, Free expressionist, Experimental Realms of music. I would like to create uniqueness and instrumentation of color and sounds. I'm looking to find musicians who have a creative uniqueness in their individual perceptions of color and texture in music. I would like this spiritual manifestation to be a conceptual project where it would be created by the inner most highest center of music improvisation. Created by the Mystical and the Unknown. The Exploration of Sound, Color,Texture, Mood, Space, Time, Spiritual Consciousness and Spacial Energies is what is to be explored. The Healing Mystics of Sound and Science. HMS Healing Mystical Sounds/Science.
Tainonegro would like to represent this Spiritual Mystical Journey into the Unknown worlds of Spacial Harmony between all Energies of Life. Within a space there is a harmony which creates the unknown.
The project will be focusing on these conceptual musical understandings:
Rehearsal/Performing/Recording/Evolving
Innovating Improvisations Concepts/....Philosophies
Rejuvenating Ideas of Expressions and improvisation
Instrumentation.... Creations of certain Space, Texture and Harmonies.
Discussions of Musical Philosophies, Spiritual Conceptions of Music, Sound Healing Conceptions, Creative Developments of Music in our Lives.
Now is the Time to bring all creations to a direction of Positive Creative Energy so we can conceptualize the spacial harmony of the heart beat of the Universe. We are always in the now there is now present or future we are living it Today not tomorrow. We need to focus or energy to help heal the wounded and help direct the people who are fooled and confuse by the present and future which do not exist. Creation is what we got to keep building in our communities so we can focus our inner energy to a positive state of living and understanding. We have to face the reality and there is none except the one we conceive every moment in our lives.

Don has played with a great many musicians, covering a wide swath of music. In the 50's he played upright Bass with Elvin Jones, piano with Herbie Mann and Nate King Cole and bass with Tommy Flanagan, Yusef Lateef and Don Ellis. He also worked with Charlie Haden, Paul Bley and Carla Bley. In the 1960's, Don started experimenting with electronic and tape music and incorporating synthesizers into my music. He met Frank Zappa in 1966 and joined the Mothers of Invention. Also at this time, Don toured and recorded with Meredith Monk. In the 70's, he performed with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, appearing on 'Sometime in New York City'. From 1975 - 1995, his recorded projects included: "Escalator Over the Hill", with Michael Mantler and Carla Bley and "Fields" with John Carter. Don has worked on numerous film soundtracks, notably "Apocalypse Now". He co-founded the Grandmothers, with former Mothers of Invention band members. Don toured with Lou Rawls, the Mike Mantler group and was the musical director for Leo Sayer touring group. He recorded/..performed in the Robbie Krieger band and with Bobby Bradford. From the late 90's till now, Don has continued to stay very busy, performing and recording various Jazz and New music/..Electronica. His most recent solo piano album, Hear Me Out, can be pruchased at Echograph Records. The GrandMothers have toured doing Zappa Music and original music in the USA and Europe. Don has also toured with Zappa tribute band Project Object. He founded the electronic trio Akashic Ensemble, which tours the USA, Canada and Europe. "That's impossible - you cant do that on a Moog" - Synthesizer design pioneer , and Don's good friend, Bob Moog, commenting on his Moog Synth solo on Zappa's "WAKA JAWAKA".

Elliott is the ubiquitous Philadelphia musician. He has played with everyone.....reading his poetry into his flute, literally, improvising with Charles Cohen, Rick Iannacone, and New Ghost, the list is long. A discography appears below. Elliott studied music and creative writing at the University of Oregon. He also studied extensively with Michael Guera (former saxophonist with thePhiladelphia.. Orchestra), Cecil Taylor (..pianist/..composer/..improvisor), and Claire Polin (..flutist/..composer). Elliott has performed with groups including Cecil Taylor's Ensemble, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Odeon Popes' Sax Choir, Scram!, New Ghost, Atzilut (Fourth World), and Talking Free Bebop. He has collaborated in performance with poets Miguel Algarin, Gloria Tropp, Mbali Umoja, Marty Watt, and Frank Messina & Spoken Motion among many others. Venues have included Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The United Nations, The U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Yale University, The Greek Theater, Watts Towers, Lollapalooza! and scores of galleries, clubs and theaters.

The city recommended this permit so we can fall in the guidelines of the Rain Cross District of Entertainment and Arts of downtown Riverside,Ca.. Pharaohs Den has been a part of Downtown Riverside for almost two years and this area would not be the same with out it. We are organizing a few fundraisers so we can obtain this minor CUP permit. Thanks for the support.Now we are organizing an Acoustic Electric show December 20th 2009 to help raise the funds needed. The Minor CUP costs 1,463.00 dollars. Once we obtain this permit the good thing is we will be open to the public. Right now, Pharaohs Den is a private facility. We recommend you have your membership before you attend any performances. The lifetime memberships fee is$5.00. Please come out and support music and art in Downtown Riverside.
