what other people have to say about me:
"Take A Halliday was probably most surprising to me. I haven't seen Halliday's work in a long time, and it's been a little off-the-beaten-path, so to speak, thanks to her quirky personality and great sense of humor. So I was amazed at the leap she's taken to the colorful side of, dare I say, the fashion norm? Not that anything she does is "normal". But it's not like her to have so much color. I went charging up to the VIP room to get a closer look at the plaid-ish red dress over the white tank with her signature heart embellishment on it (which matches the large tatoo over her heart). I had a chance to ask a few questions. As always, Halliday is fun to talk to and something amusing always comes out of her mouth.
How did you come up with the design for the red dress with white tank?
"A last minute design is sometimes my best. I look at my final collection and realize I need one more. That is how this dress happened”
Tell me about this collection.
“This is my happiest, brightest collection, very colorful. I like to name all my collections, so this one I’m calling Unicorn Vomit. If I actually saw a unicorn vomit, I imagine it would be colorful and bright too.”
I never thought of it that way...but she could be right. Even her dad was there to cheer her on. I am sure he was proud of his girl for the fab show she put out there."
