Then We Take Berlin take their name from a Leonard Cohen lyric, and combine styles as diverse as Post Punk and 80's Synth Pop. This voguish 4 piece are set to make an impact in 2009 with their visually stylish, high octane live shows and their intriguing mix of diverse music styles. Since their first live show in June 2008 they have appeared at London venues such as Proud Galleries, Favela Chic, and Nambucca as well as being the first ever live band to play at trendy Berlin nightclub Spindler & Klatt, a stylish down town VJ Club. Then We Take Berlin will appear on 4Music on November the 20th at 9.00pm performing a new version of 'A Little Less Closer'. The show will also air on Channel4 on November 23rd at 12pm.
At the moment Then We Take Berlin are working hard on an exclusive album sampler, which you can soon listen too from here. Also, after a successful gig in Berlin there are plans to venture back into Europe in 2009 with France, Belgium and a welcome return to Germany definitely on the cards, as well as some imminent festival apperances and a list of high profile London gigs on next years checklist. Expect to hear Then We Take Berlin everywhere throughout next year.

"Although they are named after a Leonard Cohen song don’t underestimate the power these boys have. Furious electro beats, coupled with a voice that resonates the Manchester scene circa 1992, thumping drums and dizzy guitars that throb through you making you want to whip the glow sticks out and start dancing immediately. The boys have a formidable energy, and their stage presence is electric, singer Woods flitting from deranged electro star to forlorn lover in one fell swoop.
Then We Take Berlin are set to take over London, then Berlin, and then the world. Watch out…"

Diese Party verspricht optisch und akustisch ein Festmahl zu werden. Ganz neu präsentiert sich 40° Celsius mit dieser Veranstaltung. Der FritzClub wird wohl in dieser Nacht der Party-HotSpot Berlins sein.
