Take By Storm are a four-piece band hailing from Windsor. Formed in early March 2009, Take By Storm is made up of experienced gigging and recording musicians that all work in and around music stores, studios and the audio industry, often working with each other and are involved in music on a daily basis.
The band got together as a result of being good friends, colleagues and having played in various other bands, and having gigged together. Realising their shared love of music and varied influences from Tool, Brand New, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Counting Crows all the way through to bands like Nine Inch Nails, Therapy, Lamb Of God and Opeth, they decided to get together, write some material and try their own brand of alternative rock/metal, finally getting underway with full rehearsals around April.
Take By Storm are now gigging locally to their home base of Windsor but are eager to play as many gigs in as many places as possible. They have enough material to play any length of set and are happy to play any gig possible.
