TakeDown was formed in January of 2003. The bands history, though, goes all the way back to the early 90's. Norm, Ray, and Andy went to the same high school and were friends from the start. The three of them were in band together which continued on past graduation. Jacki was introduced to the boys in '99 through Ray's wife, Jessica. Norm, Ray, and Andy were looking for a vocalist and learned about Jacki's singing ability. Thus, Fallen was formed. Unfortunately, after a few trial runs, everyone split. Ray joined a cover band, Norm moved to Canada, Andy moved to Maryland, and Jacki went her seperate way. It was right before Ray's wedding that Jacki and Norm came back into the picture. The three of them started writing again. On January 17, 2003, Ray and Norm finally get a call from Andy, who wasn't heard from in about 2 years. They spoke with Andy who said he was interested in getting back into the music. After some consideration, the band was reformed. Again, the band was called Fallen. They would play in between sets of Ray's cover band, Mother Leeds. During the summer of 2003, Jacki and Andy found themselves falling in love, which caused alot of turmoil within the band. The band split up a few times, but realized that they all were and still are very good friends. So, why should something so great come between them? Eventually, their friendship and a little hard work got them past the fighting. They decided to continue with the music. After changing the name again to Descend, the band did covers and originals at local bars. Before Jax and Andy's wedding, they had to change the name again. So they finally after several days and over 400 names (yes we counted) came up with the name TakeDown. The band liked it and friends seemed to like that one was the best. In the last few months, TakeDown has been focusing on studio work only. More recently, Jacki and Andy just added a new member to the band, Gabriella Marie Sipple. Born July 2nd, she's an adorable, healthy baby who has brought the whole band closer. In other news, the band hopes to put up 2 more songs on MySpace for your listening pleasure. They also hope to be playing out in the mid to late fall. And now a word from the band.....

We do have another thing or 2 up our sleeves, so please be patient. We hope to be back in full swing by winter and hope put out an album that everyone would love. Keep rocking!!! We love you all!!!
