Take Hold Fest

About me:

We love Jesus. We love music. We love Michigan. We wanted to take three of our dearest passions and blend them into one event. The outcome will be Take Hold Fest 2009. Our goal will be to hold a FREE show with the intent to showcase local/Michigan bands at a local music venue. The show will be for the community by the community. Does this sound crazy? We believe it doesn’t. We do believe that this evening will be a positive event for the Jesus we love, the music we love, and the state we love. Please join us.

Fight the good fight for the true faith. TAKE HOLD of the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses. And I charge you before God, who gives life to all, and before Christ Jesus, who gave a good testimony before Pontius Pilate, that you obey this command without wavering. I press on to TAKE HOLD of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 3:12-14
