OFFICIAL DATE FOR THE RELAUNCH OF OUR DEBUT EP, "Tonight, The Skies"!
I know you may be thinking "why the fuck are you releasing the same record again, when we want to hear new stuff?" well, you are correct in that, and as soon as we get some money together we will go back into the studio and record some more tracks for you! However, we have decided with our new management that the best option would be to take the EP and remaster all the tracks, making them sound AMAZINGGG and then rebuff the artwork, and release it properly :) This will hopefully include lots of press work, including interviews, radioplay, magazine press, and lots of other wonderful things!
Plus, we will have TEESHIRTS for sale from this date, in our bigcartel merch store! They will only be £6!!! With regards to the OFFICIAL RELAUNCH DATE, and there will hopefully be a party, big gig type thing, where everything will be on sale for CHEAP! and, more importantly, you will all be invited ;)
We will also be shoving up a new demo or two in the next couple of months, and we will be playing lots of new stuff that isn't on the EP! It would be amazing if you could all help us out with this, by spreading the word about us and if you have our tracks, give them to your friends and tell them to do the same. This is a big turning point in the life of Taken Advantage, and we hope that you are just as excited as us about it all!

We are Taken Advantage, four guys from London. We have been doing this for a while now, and are about to take a leap into a completely different dimension of the music industry. For months now we have been hanging around on the edges, poking towards the simmering centre of the UK underground music scene. We are about to rerelease our debut EP, because last time we released it we did not do it properly because we were not expecting it to get the response it did.
We are extremely excited about this turning point for Taken Advantage, and hopefully those of you who have seen us before, bought out CD, bought some merch, or just generally like us in some way or form will be excited to!
On the 8th of October 2009, we will be unveiling a much better Taken Advantage. We are currently trying to find time to do a tour in 2010, but various stuff like Emiel's GCSE's and Sanam's Oxford application will get in the way of getting the metaphorical ball rolling again, which is why we need to plan our time very carefully at the present moment. Hopefully we will be able to fit a 5 day stint in February. But, we WILL be doing a massive tour in the summer, whether we can afford it or not....
We will be playing shows all over the country, and if we have not come to your town yet, hold tight, because we will soon. Do not be afraid to talk to us at shows, say hi, come hang out or whatever, we are all decent guys, and don't bite! If you have a specific place/venue you want us to play, please send us a message or comment, and we will do our best to get ourselves down there to play! In the meantime, all we can urge you to do is come see us at a show, buy some merch, because ALL of the money, yeah, ALL of it, goes straight back into the band, whether it be for more merch, petrol to get home, new recordings etc.
We would just like to thank everyone who has ever come to see us, bought some merch, told their friends about us; all the promoters who have put us on a show, all the bands we have played with so far, you are all awesome.

Dooo you think possibly at all that my friends band could perhaps play with you guys then or some other time in watford or ruislip area, there desperate to do a show down here with a band who get a good audience and you guys are amazing so im pretttyy sure you guys do? xx
