About Taken Root

Taken Root are long time friends and (nearly as long time) DJ partners, Tom Meeks and James Norman, drawn in together by the well established UK drum and bass scene in the early part of this millenium, we both embarked on different musical journeys that brought us back round to that same genre in the early part of 2006 but now on a much deeper level. It's got to the point where it has gone beyond a hobby and become more like a habit. Our main aim is to try and play as much of the music we love to as many people who will listen and throw a bit interesting mixing in for the ride :P
