TAKEOUT started in 1999 in Daytona Beach, FL. The guys began writing their own material and playing shows all around FL. In 2000 with the loss of drummer Adam and Guitarist Ryan, the remaining two members of TAKEOUT (Guitarist/Vocalist Matt and Bassist/Lead Vocalist JR) began playing acoustic shows around Jacksonville. In the summer of 2004 Drummer Mat was added to the band to make the TAKEOUT you now see today. TAKEOUT now plays all over the Orlando, FL area at such places like The Social, Backbooth, Duke's Orlando, and The Haven Lounge.
TAKEOUT released its first EP at The Haven Lounge, Saturday, February 10th, 2007.
