I'm a Operating Engineer in the H.V.A.C. field. I got in building operations right after highschool in "86". Started at the bottom cleaning bathrooms and never stopped working my way up since. Married to a strong beautiful Redhead with 3 wonderful children(9,5,2)

So we got rid of our suv! even at 6cyl it sucked on gas. We picked up a Scion Xb 5spd and what a ride. Its a little smaller then the highlander we had but something had to give. Drove it back from Buffalo this weekend and at times we were averaging 45mpg's. We averaged 34 at the end of trip. My little piece of going green

Fried from work,to much costruction going on in building for two enginners to watch but listing to ultimate streetdance(yes I was born and raised in Brooklyn(Sheepshead Bay) and lived thru the whole era)Sipping vodka and cranberry. Waching ballgame,Philly...suck it.
So the Rhode Island show was just okay. The club and the crowd (or lack thereof)were subpar.

Well it's a secret but if you promise not to tell they're going to play Brooklyn the night AFTER the Rhode Island show. You and the missus better plan for that one. It's even a Saturday night and the Philly Boys said they would try to make it too. We don't know where it will be yet so we'll keep you posted. -Maggie
I know I missed a great show, my wife practically threw me out to go see the show and meet my Liam Finn friends. But I wind up missing the misses when I go out without her sometimes. Altho she's going to Toronto to see Cake with her sister(Hmm)And of course the weekend they are in rhode island doesnt look good for the Liam show for me. Gonna have to find another band to get out more often
FYI...I posted pics and so far one video from the show at the Bowery last Thursday on my page. You missed a great Beatles cover at the Bowery (luckily I posted the video for your viewing pleasure). They did the same cover in Philly but then they switched it up in DC with another Beatles cover (Birthday) and a Neil Young cover (Old Man) in Washinington DC. Oh yeah and we saw The Philly Boys too!
The tickets for Liam's show on Sept 4 at the Bowery Ballroom are on sale. Maggie and I are doing a road trip and are gonna go to the Philly and D.C. show as well. Hope to see you on the 4th.
So I also got Three more Cigar box guitars just about done, work has been kickin my ass with free time lately. I will post some pics when I actually take pics but they came out nice. The misses also got me some nice new boxes too, I see a electric one being built soon.
Heads up...Vedder is in NYC on August 4th & 5th w/ Liam opening. Tickets go onsale on Friday, July 11th. I think Jac & I are going on the 5th (she's busy on the 4th). Hope to see you and your wife there.
Ok a real bugger of a day, really past few days and I got to spend all day today tweekin Industrial sized A/C units for tenants,grrrr. Came home tonite and tore my a/c apart for a good cleaning and now she's crankin. Stay cool, hopefully the misses got my text at the market to bring home a I.P.A. Cheers
