We'd have to say one of our biggest influences in starting a duo group would have to be The Wreckers, singing along with their cd one day, we realized we had some harmony comming out, and we were hooked on singing together from then on. We also have several other influences, way to many to name all of them. Some are the following:
Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Patsy Cline, Heart, Pat Benatar, so many more. We love all types of music, from country, pop, rock, gospel, and 80's.
We first met at a singing contest at Club Landing in June of 2006. Right after we met we started running into each other all the time and eventually started hanging out and singing together.
We soon found out that we have a lot in common. Both of us were discovered by Cheryl Borowski of Starmakers Unlimited. Cheryl introduced both of us to Gary Sadker from Red Ridge Entertainment in Nashville where we both went on to record solo albums with him. We both share a strong passion for country music and we have absolutely fallen in love with Nashville. We've both performed as soloists in the Michigan and Indiana area for over 10 years, singing for fairs and festivals, contests, fund raising events, weddings, the National Anthem for athletic events, etc. We recently started singing together and found that we enjoy being on stage together as a duo, it's an incredible feeling singing, and it's so much better being able to persue a career together. We both enjoy all types of music, from country, rock and pop to Gospel and 80's. If it sounds good we love it! The two of us are both a bit on the goofball side, we love to laugh and enjoy the life that God has given us. We feel blessed to be able to share the gift of music....
