Fave band ever has got to be Slayer or the Cure depending on the mood i'm in. Really like the Dixie Chicks and thanks to Sally am getting into Prince (particularly the Blackwell drumming stuff). | | Movies | Really enjoyed Hero. If i like it i like it, simple as that i suppose. Had a big fad recently with Buffy which I never thought I would get into but ended up watching about 3 eps a day until i got through the whole lot. About me:
Just moved to Honley from big bad Batley. It was a good choice as anyone who has been to Batley will no doubt testify to.
I work for a living unfortunately, but the company is OK so that's not too bad.
I used to play guitar (and still do to a certain extent) but my main musical passion is the drums.
Started playing drums for The Dysfunctionals, an experience which could fairly accurately be summed up by the name at least some of the time. Having said that it was a great learning experience and i had some great times. For anyone who is interested Julian was the singer and Pat was the guitar player and has a new band called The Baddies. I don't know what's happened to Dave the bass player.
Then came Grinn, who I am still playing with but which is in a bit of a curious state at the moment. Finally there is SinConConfuso which is a really interesting project that i'm involved in. It's going slowly but surely, and now the line up has stabalised looks very promising indeed.
I wouldn't call it a hobby, but I did get bored and decided to modify the myspace layout that Mike Industries has done. His profile is good. Mine had limited resources in terms of pictures and imagination which is why I decided to cut my head off and stick it all over the place. Still it's gotta beat a big page stretching picture of Eminem that means you can't read any of the text. No? Must be me then.
