BAND INFO -- We open the doors at 7pm and usually get started between 7:30 & 8:00 - You can play a 30 to 45 minute set - We are pretty laid back. Line ups are usually according to the flyers. If you are first up you should plan to be here about 6:00 to 6:30 to get set up. We have a PA and 2 mics at the moment, so be sure to bring your amps and mics. -- We are drug and alcohol free , so that means NO DRUGS AND NO ALCOHOL -- If you are caught you will be suspended from playing at Talent Central for 2 months on the first offense. There will be NO second offenses. The second time will be the last time.

Talent Central opened in June 2006. It has grown from 1 band with 10 fans to a list of 20+ bands with a growing fan base. Our main objective is to give the young people in rural communities,(starting with Batesville)something to do in a fun, safe, social environment. The kids that come regularly love it and come back as often as they can.
Our original programming has changed. We are a non-profit, drug and alcohol free, adult supervised music venue for youth 13 and up.
We give young, up & coming bands, and artists a place to play their music. We are still fairly new, and have a very limited budget. Therefore, at this time we not able to pay our bands.
However, if it comes down to not showing because of gas, please let me know and I'll do what I can to help.
At Talent Central, we are always looking for new bands and artists who want to play in front of an enthusiastic audience. Talent Central is non-profit so all gigs are played for free.
However, we do have to pay the rent to stay open, so we have a $5.00 cover charge. All proceeds go toward paying the bills, upgrading our equipment and improvements.
It's a great time for both the young people in the audience and great experience for the musicians.
Ages 15 & up, are welcome from all areas.
We offer Karaoke Night for teens 13 and up, every Friday night from 7pm to 9pm. (Younger kids are welcome as long as parents stay.) Admission is only $2.00.

On most Saturday nights we have concerts featuring regional bands and artists such as Ken Smith, Chelsea Savage-Chandler, Shawn Blackwell, CrossRoads, Konstant Haze, Danaa Hoyt, and many more.
All concert nights are a $5.00 cover.
We have adult supervision, security, plenty of seating, and soon we will have a snack bar. If nothing else, just come check us out. We always have a good time.

Who I'd like to meet: Musicians, bands, singers, and comedians, ages 13 & up.
ADULTS who are genuinely interested in what's happening with our young people today. If we don't help our teenagers NOW, what will things be like in 10 or 20 years?
I am an advocate of rehab programs. I'm sure they haelped many people. Maybe, if we would donate as much time and money to our youth now, as we donate to drug and alcohol rehab programs, maybe our kids wouldn't wind up in drug and alcohol rehab programs.
So, if you think that it's important to have a place for our young people to hang out that offers good, clean fun, we need your support.
We always need volunteers for a variety of things. If you are willing to donate time or money that will go to a good cause, our kids, please contact me.

From the Desk of Miss Tammy It looks like we are going to have to cancel the festival for OCT 6th due to lack of interest. I have not heard from any of you as to whether you are interested in helping. 5 or 6 people cannot run this show alone. It's going to take many more than that. We may still keep the catfish dinner going as I do have commitment from at least the guy who going to fry the fish. He's about the only one. The car show guy is moving off to Idaho or somewhere. So if you guys are not interested in Talent Central reopening, then I'm not going to bother. I started this for you all, not for me. It's going to take a lot more money this time, as we need a better building, with heat and air if nothing else. But rent on a better building is going to run us well up and probably over $750 a month and this also means higher utilities. We were making nowhere near that at our old building. So, it looks like I'm going to have to give up this idea for a while. Unless God sees fit to dump s bunch of money on my head, which I don't really see happening. I love you all, and miss you all terribly. I hope to see you around town. If you see me I hope you will say hi and hug my neck. I'm not going to give up this all together, but it will be postponed for quite some time I'm afraid. Love to all. Miss Tammy
