About me: Talia Gryphon makes her home in the Central US with her Elven children, several assorted rescue dogs and cats and various mythological critters. Her interest in both the Paranormal and in Paramortals has been lifelong, stemming from her first readings of Dracula, Frankenstein, Phantom of The Opera, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Trilby beginning around age eleven and nurtured by a love for Hammer Horror Classics. A large number of her family and friends who have proudly served in the Peace Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, have served both as inspirations, advocates and advisers for her life and her books.
During a fifteen year career in the non-exact science of mental health, it occurred to her that supernatural and preternatural beings she'd read about would have problems and issues of their own to deal with, but had no one to listen or take them on as patients or clients, so she began sketching out her thoughts, speculative psychological profiles, and possible diagnoses. Thoughts became notes, notes became pages, pages became books: hence the Gillian Key, ParaDoc Series was developed. She is a member of the American Psychotherapy Association, Science Fiction Writers of America and Horror Writers of America.
Who I'd like to meet: Viggo Mortensen, Gerard Butler, Goran Visnjic, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, William Shatner, David Wenham, Judy Garland, Cleopatra, Nichelle Nichols, Mary Shelley, Gaston Leroux, Edgar Allan Poe, Louis Jourdan, Alain Delon, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Esther, Josh Bernstein, Susan B. Hi Talia. There are truly no words worthy of expressing the difference that is made by a mother's selfless and unending love and sacrifice for her children...but something like that just doesn't go unnoticed :) Enjoy YOUR day!!
Benny Writeman was a peaceful artist who lived in a small Indiana town with his lovely wife, Autumn. But, when his wife is murdered, then returns from the dead and reveals her murder must be avenged before she can truly rest, he drags her ghost across the country on the hunt for the vampires responsible. With the help of his brother, Jack and their father, Frank, they leave an ever mounting trail of carnage behind as they confront nightmarish creatures around every corner, only to discover a heartbreaking truth at the end of their journey.

Dear friend, I cannot thank you enough for your kind support and friendship! Welcome to our ever growing family of friends. I'm really happy you have decided to become friends of the Wake Up (to child abuse) MySpace Music page. Just by adding us to your friends you have already demonstrated that you have a good heart and are willing to take a step towards ending the hidden suffering of so many.
We also dare to hope you will be able to persuade some of your other MySpace friends to join our just fight against child abuse by adding us to their friends too. The larger our family of friends becomes, the more people we will be able to reach and educate about this terrible ‘disease’ sweeping across the world which blights the lives of more children than you may imagine. Please take a moment to read some of the statistics on child abuse highlighted on our profile and within our blogs. I am sure you will be just as shocked and appalled as we are when you find out the full extent of this scourge.
The innocent children suffering such terrible abuse need all the help they can get. Increased awareness of this foul concealed crime will help to prevent more children living through the agonising torment which I was forced to experience.
I hope you have a great day and look forward to hearing from you soon with your views and comments on this important issue,
