General
About My Interests:
I have a lot of different interests. I love music of all kinds, working on my computer, animals and pets, playing games, anything medical, reading books, doing yoga and bellydance. I mostly read fantasy, including authors Mercedes Lackey, John Marco and Ed Greenwood. I also like sci-fi stuff like Star Trek. I love books and movies that have anything to do with magic, dragons, pirates, aliens. I love outdoorsy stuff like walking, camping, hiking, swimming and of course roasted marshmallows...!! I love love books and movies that deal with natural disasters, volcanoes are my favorite. I read and study about them in my free time.
Random facts about me:
I still love all of my old cartoons and shows from the 80's and early 90's. Your never too old for cartoons! Never I say! I've always been a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons and movies, and I still even watch them on vhs or dvd. To me they never get old. I still even own and collect the action figures from back then. I also am obsessed with anything Megaman/Rockman, including collecting and playing the games, clothing, and collectible action figures. If it says Megaman, I must have it. I'm still a kid at heart, but there's nothing wrong with that.
I'm very into all things medical, because of my own personal medical background and experience. I have Cystic Fibrosis and Fibromyalgia, among other health problems, so I've spent all of my life in and out of hospitals and doctors offices. I've always wanted to get a job in the medical field because theres so much of it that I've seen and understand. I volunteered with the Buncombe County Rescue Squad for over a year. It's been the best experience of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with and learn from.
I also love to dance, and I've been practicing and working out at home, plus I was in a class for a while. I love bellydance. It's a really fun way to work out and excercise, and the moves are to beautiful to do once learned. I would like to also one day get into ballet, but I just haven't had the time to find a class for it and sign up yet. I just love dancing. It's a beautiful art form and it's also great fun. So I can't wait until one day I can get back into professional lessons so that I can dance just as beautiful as many others that I've seen. It's hard work, but it gets your body into shape fast. And then it's all fun from then on.
Pets:Sassafrass Ann - Dog(pittbull & irish terrier mix), Luna Lou - Cat. My fav animal is the Wolf. I love animals a lot, and I can't imagine my home being without them!
On Sunday, July 23rd, 2006 my kitten Stripe got his Angel wings. Thanks to everyone for your kind words and thoughts about this tragedy. Thanks a lot to my friend Amber for the beautiful graphic.

Hello! My name is Crystal, but I'm also known as Talica. Not sure what all to ever say in these things! I live in the small town of Clyde, NC with my family. I was born in central Florida and still have family there that I love to go and visit! I'm a spoiled Daddy's Girl, no matter how old I get. Your never too old to be a princess. =)
I'm really into music, I like almost any kind, but mostly pop and rap, depending on my mood, and I love irish and celtic music. I've always been known as a bit of a goof-off and the 'comic-relief' among my group of friends. I firmly believe that no matter what happens, never loose your sense of humor!!! =)
I also have a disease called Cystic Fibrosis. I'm always trying to get more awareness out there so people can help out and find ways to benefit people affected by this disease in their local areas. Disease is not just something you see on television, it's worldwide, and it takes awareness and help from everyone working together to make a positive difference towards treatment and cures. I was diagnosed when I was only 9 months old. The doctors told my family that I wouldn't live past 3 but, I'm still here!! Hangin' in, hangin' out and hangin' on!!
Anyone on myspace that has CF, or a friend or family member with CF, feel free to message me anytime. I know it's especially hard for new parents who are just learning about their child's disease. I'm always here to help out and answer questions if anyone feels that they need it. I go to UNC Chapel Hill Hosp. for my treatments and tests every 3 months, so I'm always happy to meet up with people and their families when I'm in their area.
I like to meet people with similar interests. I also love to meet other people and families with Cystic Fibrosis or other similar diseases to talk to and "share war stories" so to speak.

Years ago, when the music video for Men In Black 2 was being filmed, the Make-A-Wish Foundation sent me and my family to L.A. to meet him. He's just as nice, handsome, and humorous in real life as he is on t.v. I have a section for it up at my homepage if anyone would life to see it. It has a short one page story about all that happened during the visit with Will. I have also put up some pictures that were taken with him while we were there. I will not put the pictures here on myspace, much as I would like to, because even though I want to share their viewing with others, I DO NOT WANT THEM STOLEN. They are very personal to me, and I don't want them plastered all over the web by amatures that want to edit them and claim that they are the ones in the pictures. People like that just piss me off to no end. As stated on that page, the pictures are NOT TO BE TAKEN, COPIED, DIRECT LINKED TO, DOWNLOADED, SAVED, OR ANYTHING ELSE WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION. THEY MAY BE VIEWED ONLY.
