Talicza Stevens is an acoustic singer songwriter from Andover, she picked up her first guitar at the tender age of 13 and has never looked back.
With musical influences such as Joni Mitchell and Damien Rice, her music has a bittersweet, haunting sound and is reminiscent of her folk begginings.
Starting out in local venues playing open mics, the sights have now been set for further afield. Since the recruitment of the violinist Tess to her act, Talicza's sound has become ever opulent and entrancing.
Her debut E.P ''Owls and Nightingales'' has an eclectic mix of tracks from the heartbreaking vocals of ''seasons'' to the bouncy honesty of ''My old typewriter''.
