Not a damn thing. Definitely doing something this weekend though, becasue last weekend was pretty much shot due to having to work on Sunday. Consequently, I had to do some homework Saturday night. We'll definitely get down on some drum action.

I concur. When one has another instrument to "feed off of" with his or her own, it almost acts as a form of social facilitation. For example, when I play along with your acoustic, it enables me to play better. Long story short, you're right, collaboration is where it's at.

No, but i'll kill those bitches in the office. I told em it'd better show up by the time they open tomorrow or they're gonna have a serious lawsuit on their hands! They closed 30 mins early and when i got to the door the manager was backing away like i couldn't see her. Talk about raising holy hell...it's coming!

there are a bunch of books written about the ender universe!

ender's game, speaker for the dead, xenocide and children of the mind are all the original books which cover most of the span of ender's life.

ender's shadow is a parallel novel to ender's game, written from the viewpoint of one of his soldiers, bean. bean later went on to help out with the war on earth at the end of ender's game, and the following three books (shadow of the hegemon, shadow puppets, and shadow of the giant) are all bean's story.

then there is first meetings -- three short stories from the "enderverse". a war of gifts takes place during battle school. and ender in exile was just released on tuesday...it covers the time between the end of battle school and when ender becomes speaker for the dead, but don't read it until you read the other books, because it ties up some loose ends. lol

but YES...read ender's game. it's works as a stand alone novel...you don't need the other ones. they just give you a fix when you need more of those characters.
