Well, where do I start???? I'm 54, happily married, with 5 children. Two of them are mine, and 3 are step-children. They range from 17 to 36 years old. I've been a Cosmetologist for 37 years.
I love to cook, and love to bake even more. I'm pretty well known for my pie crusts, and cakes. All the high calorie stuff. I guess that's from all my Pa. Dutch backround. I can speak a little Pa. Dutch, too. My Mother could speak Pa. Dutch and German fluently. Not me, but I understand pretty much of it.
I have played the piano since I was in the 2nd grade. I love to sing. I was in a band for awhile back in the 80's. Country music is what I sang mostly. Alot of Patsy Cline stuff.
I love to just sit down at the piano, with my kitties at my side, and just play whatever comes into my soul at the time. I especially love to sit down at the piano in the evening, after the house has calmed down.
I love the ocean. It is my biggest passion. I would love to live by the sea, all year long.
My husband, daughter, and I have a place down in Del., where we spend many wonderful days. During the summer, I keep all our friends entertained, with my weekly newsletter, about our happenings at the beach.
I love photography. And my digital camera. I don't go anywhere without it. All those memories you know.
I love to read books. Most any kind really. But, I must have a collection of a thousand cookbooks.
I love the Lord, and am a Christian. I love Gospel songs, and new Christian music.
.. color=#1d1ffc size=5>Happy Thanksgiving. I hope your day is filled with love and peace with family and friends. I thank God for instilling his thoughts in my mind, I thank him for eyes to see his way, I thank him for ears to hear the true word. I thank him for the voice he has given me. I thank him for allowing me to work in his kingdom, I thank him for guiding my feet and assuring my foundation in him. I am his to mold and use as he would. I truly thank God for beautiful friends like you. Have an awesome day. Praise his mighty name. Let the light of Christ shine in all I think, do, and say. God bless you dear friend. Leora
"Our harvest being gotten in , our governor sent four men on fowling, that so we might after a special manner rejoice together." Edward Winslow
In early autumn of 1621, the 53 surviving Pilgrims celebrated their successful harvest, as was the English custom. During this time, "many of the Indians coming... amongst the rest their great king Massasoit, with some ninety men."
As you begin your "holiday" shopping, please remember your fellow AMERICANS!

I carefully consider my words as I paint this portrait grand, for no amount of beautiful can really explain my friend. I peer into the deep where thoughts are born and breath, soaking in every word that whispers for me to keep. I long for more… to know this precious soul, to bring the sun and a happy dance through this open door. Sometimes sorrow seeps where the lonely willows weep, but the shallow ground that is seen through the surface is never the heart I see. So I will paint this portrait grand in hope the world sees, how beautiful… how precious… you really are to me.
I thought I heard your name carried on the wind, whispering sweet content, a touch from my friend. When laughter reigns within and happy dances begin will I find you there among the stars, or will you still be seeking the broken leaves that fall? I don’t know, but my spirit soars since you heard my call. I thought I saw a teardrop floating through the sky, joining in this symphony of lyrical disguise. But now I hear the real you, a word that can’t be spoken, a hand that reached out to me when I was alone and broken.
on behalf of all that you have reached out to... thank you
