FIRST OF ALL: I AM HERE FOR FRIENDS AND NETWORKING; NOT TO HOOK-UP WITH ANYONE!
O'siyo! I began this MySpace to pay hommage to my Native American ancestors, Texas elders, and my love for British Comedies. My Native American ancestors, (Cherokee), from Tennessee, (through my maternal great grandmother), fought with Dragging Canoe against European settlements. Yes, these ancestors fought "with" the British against the "Americans" but they fought for their land, freedoms, and way of life. Dragging Canoe also foretold that the Europeans would not stop until they have taken all the land killing the Natives in the process. My other Native ancestors, through my maternal great grandfather were also Cherokees, (Tsalagi), that fled to the mountains in western Georgia before the deadline of the illegal Indian Removal Act by Andrew Jackson began; (basically giving a greenlight for Georgians to "put a torch" under the Cherokees and take their land and possessions). I also like my Texas heritage due to the fact that all of my ancestors; from Native American to European Pioneers,(my French Patriarch Dr.Pierre Chastain arrived in 1700, and my Irish, English, and German ancestors arrived thereafter); they all managed to roll their wagon wheels stopping in North Texas. In my early years I was raised by my grandparents and constantly around my maternal great grandparents. Lovely memories. My grandfather and I use to watch British Comedies all the time on PBS with the volume at full blast. My grandmother would have our family friends over, the Anquos, that were full blooded Kiowa; they would drink alcohol, (stereotype but true in their case), and then do the war dance and my grandfather would yell, "aw hell", and then would leave the premises. Between the loud television and the loud Pow Wows the Fort Worth Police Department would visit our house on a regular basis due to noise disturbance complaints from our neighbors. At 10 years old I moved in with my aunt and uncle but those early years with my grandparents, (and my great grandparents), left a lasting impression. Besides all of the above I am a member of the United Cherokee Nation, (my Cherokee name is Talking Ocean; Wo-ni-a-me-quo-hi) and I like to meet with members when I can and learn about my Native heritage and beliefs, I also like to write. I'm working on a few projects that I hope come to completion when I can keep my ADD at bay. I still like my British Comedies: Are You Being Served?, Blackadder, Keeping Up Appearances, Open All Hours, Absolutely Fabulous, etc. I did go to Birmingham, England to see French & Saunders perform live and did get a pic with Jennifer Saunders who was pretty, nice, and came across as shy. Jennifer Saunders I enjoy because she does a lot of physical comedy, (like Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball & Mollie Sugden), and writes the best lines. I'd like to meet her again someday.Okay, enough About Me!
..
Who I'd like to meet: Quite a few comedians: Jennifer Saunders again,
Ade Edmonson, Rik Mayall, Nathan Lane, David Jason, Rowan Atkinson, Tony Robinson, Hugh Laurie, Stephen Frye, all surviving members of Are You Being Served? cast and Carol Burnett.

~ Early Morning Mist ~
In the early morning mist upon the thin frayed branch Of the silver maple tree Sits a beauty of Creation He is named Bluebird by the Cherokee He is one of many who carry the feather of healingThat comes from ancient waysThrough prayer and the Spirit.
Is one who understands where you have been, Accepts who you have become and Loves you unconditionally as you are.
She does not wish you "luck" As you step out into the unknown... She walks into the void by your side. She will not offer distractions Nor easy advice in your time of need... Instead she will pray for wisdom, Born of compassion and a willingness To take your pain upon herself.
Such a friend will always speak of you When you are not present, as though you were, And though she may not always share your Sunny days, she will always be there to help You through the stormy ones.
She is not skeptical of your blooming Nor jealous of your shining apart from her, For she seeks not to steal your joy, But to multiply it.
It has been well said that there is no Greater love than this... For a true friend does not take life from You, she gives you her own.
I'm very sorry for not replying sooner, so here's wishing you belated Valentines greetings. 2009 is turning out to be a very busy year for our party, and spirits are high. Freedom of speech is still alive here in the UK, but it is struggling under the oppression of the mainstream political parties, they would do well to remember that the British people have been likened to a sleeping lion, it takes a lot to wake him from he's slumber, but when roused beware of his bite! Best regards, Alfred Keep fighting the good fight!
