Talk Is Cheap is a new night based around live activity and fresh new dance music. Developing the idea of bands playing at venues typically hosted by Djs, the music will be a blend of live Electronica and dance tracks. The transition between band and Dj will be seamless so the flow of music will always be progressive and upbeat. We choose the bands and Djs very carefully and structure the night according to the music and make sure that each act is continually complementing as the night goes on.
Based at a brand new venue called Dex and having secured the 4th Friday of each month, the objective is to build the brand into a well known idea of hearing and discovering new bands as well as hearing your favorite Djs. With visual company “Renderyard” sponsoring the night, the crowd can expect to be amazed at visuals that are synchronised specifically to each act, as well as bearing witness to pioneering music.
Also sponsoring Talk Is Cheap is underground T-shirt label Local Celebrity, slogans are back with tongue-firmly-in-cheek. Scandinavia’s number one footwear brand has shown its support for the night with limited edition USB wristbands containing Talk Is Cheap tracks to enjoy well into the future. The dress code is simply to come along and wear something outrageously bold.
Talk is Cheap is the fusion of clever ideas, a great new venue and a ground-breaking concept in music oriented nights; ensuring the result is an audio visual feast. Electronic music lovers will revel in the enjoyment of a bespoken event that introduces both established and new talent to the stage.
