Create
a one minute cell phone video, record a jingle, write some slam poetry, a blog,
a website, a song, artwork with an anti-litter message and tell Governor
Richardson what we need to do to keep New Mexico Clean and Beautiful.
“Talk
Trash with the Guv” MySpace and YouTube Competition is a competition that will run
from present to spring 2008. The goal is
to challenge young adults between the ages of 15 and 26 to think about what they can do to keep New Mexico
Clean and Beautiful and you’ll get a chance to win some major prizes.
This MySpace
page will host runner ups and winning videos.
Winners may have a chance to either record
their songs, shoot their videos, or display their ideas on camera at a
professional studio or with a professional videographer.
RULES
1) No
profanity
2) No
sexually explicit footage
3) No
racist or sexual nature or comments of any kind
4)
Videos must not go over one minute
5)
Must be between the ages of 15 and 26
6) No
brand logos or names should appear in the videos
7)
Must be a New Mexico Resident
JUDGING: all
submissions will be reviewed by the judging panel based on the following
criteria…
1)
Originality and creativity of the video
2)
Ability to convey the message of keeping New Mexico Clean and Beautiful
HOW TO SEND YOUR VIDEO
1) Must be a YouTube member. Go to YouTube and join.
2) Once you are a member of YouTube download your
video according to YouTube’s directions.
3) Once you have loaded your video to YouTube email
the URL and Embed Code to…

…with the title of your video, your
name, address, phone #’s, email address.
Note: We cannot view your video without the URL and if
you win we cannot post your video to the websites without the Embed Code.
4) Be sure to put in the subject line of your email
“Talk Trash (Title of Video)” and what it is.
