Sounds Like:

Ned's shotgun echoing through his armour.

The dog's whine as he scratches fleas on the tuckerbox.

The crisp scraping steel blades of Jackie Howes shears.

A spark as a shoe from Thunderbolts horse strikes a New England boulder.

Air expelled from a convicts lungs as the lash cuts deep into his raw back.

The mighty roar of the grandstand as Bradman puts the Poms over the fence yet again.

The raising of glasses between long parted mates.

The crunch of a jaw under Les Darcy's glove.

Long dry wind howling through through the Diamantina.

A country hall full of inebriated Aussie folk all trying to bushdance.

......with a small touch of the Irish for old times sake.
