Tal Weiss was born in Israel and since very early age was involved in music. From classical music to jazz, from appearing with a big band or a symphonic orchestra in Israel, Europe, and US - all seemed to lead her to where she is now: one of the most acclaimed Israeli singer-songwriters.
Her debut album, “backcaTALog”, was a selection of her recordings between 1999 and 2005. It was released to rave reviews and was followed by a series of successful live dates in Israel.
Tal’s 2nd album, “Tal Weiss”, featured 20 musicians - mostly jazz veterans and young classical music talents. It was released to phenomenal reactions and to substantial radio success. Produced by Lior Suliman together with Tal herself, “Tal Weiss” was recorded using vintage equipment in a non-acoustic room (to preserve the "raw" feel). Following the international radio success, Tal's "Tale From Black" was released as a single worldwide.
Tal's new single, "Return Of The Native", was just released. It is the first in a new series called "Allergy To Consciousness". You can listen to it on this page.
You can buy Tal's music at Amazon or at iTunes.
