I can't remember the last time I put on an album and listened to it from start to finish.
Excellence is the only way to approach a project like this and get away with it with any credibility and this CD is indeed excellent in so many ways.
This album walks a fine line between convention and a very contemporary progressive edge and as a result I'm sure it will have a broad appeal. I congratulate everyone involved for demonstrating their obvious love for this genre and the ingenuity in creating some nice twists
that bring freshness to material that could so easily have been tired re-runs of safe classics.
